Clear Skies Ahead

Lately there have been clear skies throughout the day and night causing cooler nights and warmer days. As lows have been in the mid 50s to lower 60s early in the morning and highs have been climbing into the 80s during the day. Looking ahead this pattern looks to continue so don't dress too warmly in the mornings or you may end up regretting it later in the day.

This time of year the weather seems to change it's mind constantly as Summer and Fall fight for dominance. Another battle between the seasons seems to be scheduled for later this week as Fall looks to try and push a cold front through the area later this week. This will provide a chance for rain and more Fall like weather to take over later this week.

In the short term though look for clear skies and a continuation of this weekend's weather as a ridge of high pressure dictates our weather the next couple of days. Below is an image from the NAM forecasting model showing tonight's predicted cloud cover.
