Good morning! Today is the start of what looks to be another warm and beautiful week . . . with the next 24 hours being the exception. You may have noticed the increase in cloud coverage yesterday, which finally broke the mold of nearly cloudless days through last week. High pressure has somewhat departed, which left room for low-level moisture to stream in from the south. These returns from the Gulf won't amount to much. At most, it will keep more clouds than sun around for much of the day today with a very small chance of showers. There will be an overlapping theme from last week, however, and that would be the temperatures. Highs in south-central Kentucky during late September average in the upper 70s, but once again, we're looking at highs in the lower 80s today, which will likely continue through much of this week.

Relative humidity values a few thousand feet above the surface are maximized over TN this morning, suggesting clouds will likely be moving in from the south and southwest |
