Although it began kind of dreary, today turned out to be a
beautiful day across the Bowling Green area.
A cold front moved through during the early morning hours and brought us
some light rain and an increase in cloud cover.
However, as that front pushed its was further out, some of those clouds
began to clear and we got to enjoy a mix of sun and clouds and temperatures in
the low 70s!
Normally, high temperatures would be in the low 80s rather than 70s this
time of year. So, as shown in the
graphic below, we are running a few degrees cooler than normal along with many
areas to our north that have been effected by this same air mass. No complaints here, though!
As we head into tonight and tomorrow, a high pressure system
is going to move in from the north and continue these pleasant conditions. Tomorrow we will see mostly sunny skies, and highs
in the mid-70s. Once again, another
gorgeous day!
Our temperatures will be getting gradually warmer as we head
toward the weekend. We may even break
back into the 80s on Saturday! However, we will see a slight chance for showers
along with a slight cool down beginning Saturday evening. Aside from a slight chance for change this
weekend, though, we will be looking at mostly sunny skies and temperatures in
the 70s for the next week or so!
Forecast:
Tonight: Partly cloudy skies, lows near 51°, and calm winds.
Tomorrow: Mostly sunny skies, highs near 75°, and winds
out of the northeast at around 5 mph.
Tomorrow Night: Partly cloudy skies, lows near 52°, and light
winds out of the north.
Have a great night!
