Terrific Saturday Ahead

Good evening Bowling Green! I hope you are enjoying your Friday evening across south central Kentucky with this beautiful weather. We stayed dry throughout this week thanks to the upper level ridge that moved through the area. This ridge, will stay throughout Saturday until a weak disturbance slides through on Sunday.

Looking above, you can see the ridge moving through our area with a trough situated on the west coast. A rather weak low pressure system is wanting to form over Iowa and that looks to be the chance for our small disturbance and rain chances on Sunday

The forecast model above shows 7 am on Sunday. This shows a shortwave to move through the region on Sunday and give us a few isolated rain chances. This will be something to keep an eye on as it approaches closer to Sunday.

Forecast

Tonight: Mostly clear with a low of 60° and northeast winds around 3-5 mph.

Tomorrow: Sunny skies with a high of 83° and winds from the east at 5 mph.

Tomorrow Night: Mostly cloudy with a low of 64° and calm winds.

Thanks for reading!
