Once those early morning clouds rolled out of here, it
turned into a really nice autumn day with beautiful blue skies and high
temperatures in the mid-60s as high pressure built in over our region. Bowling Green was actually one of the warmer
locations in our area with a high of 67°, which is right on par with normal for
this time of year. However, unfortunately,
the seasonable temperatures that we saw today will only be with us for a short
while.
Our temperatures have been running above average for
the last four or five days, but due to another low pressure system and cold
front, this weekend they are actually going to be below average. Our high temperatures are going to get progressively
cooler as we go through the second half of this week. Tomorrow’s high temperatures will still be in
the lower 60s, but on Halloween we could see high temperatures in the low to
mid-50s, and on Saturday we may not even make it out of the 40s.

Although it will be a bit cooler than today, tomorrow
will still be another nice sunny day.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the rest of the week. Due to the previously mentioned low pressure
system and associated cold front which are shown in the graphic above, there is
a chance of scattered showers tomorrow night on into Friday. This front should be making its way out of
our area by Friday night, but that does not mean that there will not still be a
lingering rain shower or possibly even snow flurry on Halloween night.
So, although it will be a bit cool, try and enjoy the
weather tomorrow because the rest of the week is not going to be any
better. Also, check back tomorrow and
Friday for more detailed and up-to-date Halloween forecasts as this system
progresses.
