Rain Tonight, Cool Down Ahead!

Good Evening!

Today has been one of those rainy fall days that we are used to seeing. Rain throughout the day was intermittent, but it has overspread most of our area. Some places will see some heavy rain as the night progresses.

The rain that is impacting the area is associated with a cold front that has pushed through the area. This cold front brought our temperatures down just a bit, our highs across the region this afternoon were actually above average. The rain will push out of the area overnight giving way to partly to mostly cloudy skies.

Looking ahead, the cooler weather looks to continue over the next few days. High temperatures over the next few days will remain in the mid 60s, with lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Another big shot of cold air will come during your Halloween weekend. It is too early to tell, but it looks like we could be in for our first freeze of the season Saturday night!

Forecast:

Tonight: Scattered showers but otherwise partly cloudy, winds becoming calm. Low: 49º

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny with a northwest wind at 5-10 mph. High: 64º

Tomorrow Night: Mostly clear skies with winds out of the northwest at 6 mph. Low: 39º

Have a Great Night!
