Severe-Side of System is Clearing Out

Good Tuesday morning, everyone!

Last night sure was fun, wasn't it? The system started off with multiple tornado warnings to our west, gradually working its way to Warren County. While we did not see any severe warnings ourselves, we more than made up for it with the amount of rain. Within the past 24 hours, Bowling Green has received an estimated 1.06 inches of rain.

Chances are it'll still be raining as you wake up this morning, but the good news is that the severe weather threat has already passed our region. This can not rule out a stray thunderstorm, but as for now, you can have peace of mind knowing that the severe threat is nonexistent.

All of the severe weather watches/warnings are located to the southeast of us.
Temperatures will get up to the high 60s today. Behind this system comes some fall-like air. Throughout the rest of the week, you'll see some considerably cooler temperatures compared to what we have been used to.

From all of us in the WKU storm team, we hope you enjoy your Tuesday! (And please don't forget the umbrella.)
