Should these showers diminish, there are still rain chances for tomorrow when the actual cold front arrives. The lack of sunshine will mean highs in the 50s. With the passage of the front, look for temperatures to be taking a hit. Rain will be clearing out as night falls, but we'll have to watch just how far our temperatures fall. The National Weather Service feels it will come very close to freezing. As a result, a Freeze Watch has been issued for Bowling Green and all of south-central Kentucky valid for late Halloween night.

Freeze Watches are in effect for our entire regions, with a Freeze Warning issued for Muhlenberg and Todd Counties. |
We'll have much more information regarding trick-or-treating conditions on our blog and social media tomorrow. Right now, it looks like our first freeze of the season will be tomorrow night. Keep the kids warm as they are out and about for Halloween; temperatures after sunset will be in the lower 40s to upper 30s. I should also mention that we may not be completely devoid of moisture on Friday night. If temperatures in the atmosphere are below freezing, there may be some flurries flying. Don't expect any accumulations, but snowflakes are possible.
Tonight: Scattered showers late with a low near 43°. 40% chance of precipitation with winds becoming calm.
Friday: 60% chance of rain under cloudy skies. Northwest winds increasing to about 15 mph. High of 53°.
Friday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 33°. Northwest winds around 15 mph, gusting to 20 mph.
