Rain on the Way!

Good Afternoon!

Clear skies over southern Kentucky have allowed temperatures to warm into the upper 40s! It wouldn’t surprise me to see someone reach the 50° mark before the afternoon is over. There is still time to get out today and enjoy the nice weather as the tomorrow will not be quite as nice.

Rain chances will increase heading into tomorrow ahead of our next clipper system that will pass through. It looks like we will see mostly rain with this system, but there is a chance that at the end of the system we could see a brief changeover to some light snow. The timing of the changeover will be highly dependent of how fast the cold air rushes in.

Any snow that falls will have a hard time accumulating because ground temperatures are too warm. So there shouldn’t be any  major travel impacts for your Wednesday across southern Kentucky.
For the most part there really wont be any major travel issues across the country.

Thanksgiving on the other hand looks to be absolutely wonderful! Temperatures will be nice with highs across southern Kentucky in the low to mid 40s

So for those of you that have any outdoor plans for Thanksgiving you will be in good shape as skies will be partly to mostly sunny through the afternoon with breezy winds at around 5-10 mph
Forecast:

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies with light and variable winds . Low: 27°

Tomorrow:  40% chance of rain mainly after noon with a  south wind at 5-10 mph. High: 45°

Tomorrow Night: Rain early changing over to some light snow, no accumulations expected with south winds at 5-10 mph. Low: 32°

Have a Great Night!
