After a chilly weekend where some around the area saw the first snow flurries of the year today was a relatively warm day with most of the area reaching temperatures that were at least in the mid 60s. The highest temperature in the region recorded by the Kentucky Mesonet was 68°. Don't get used to the "warm" temperatures though as it appears that Winter is finally starting to take over. One thing signaling this is that the jet stream is starting to dip farther south pulling the colder air with it.

Map shows predicted rainfall amounts for tomorrow night. |
Tomorrow for the most part looks like it will be very similar to today in the weather with one exception, clouds. Look for the clouds to roll in to the area throughout the day tomorrow in preparation for the rain tomorrow night. After the rain look for temperatures to once again drop into the extremely chilly range. Don't forget your umbrella if you go out for dinner tomorrow night as you will most likely need it on your way home if not before.
With cold weather on it's way what better way to prepare than to participate in No-Shave November and grow out some extra fur to help keep warm. It also kills two birds with one stone as No-Shave November originally started as a way to help raise awareness for cancer.
Forescast:
Tonight- A low near 44° with mostly clear skies and a light South wind.
Tomorrow- High of 67°, clouds gathering throughout the day and a South wind at about 10mph
Tomorrow Night- Low of 61°. 80% chance of rain and a light South wind.
Grow your hair to grow awareness, and don't forget your umbrella.
Dakota Smith.
