The next weather system that will affect the region is forming off to our west. This system will be centered around a giant low pressure area that will propagate as the week progresses. For our current forecast period, warm air advection will be affecting Bowling Green as southerly winds force warmer air into the region. This system will then bring very strong cold air advection behind the cold front, with Arctic air dipping far south into the region. Temperatures will be greatly below average later on in the week, but more will be discussed on that in later blog posts.
As for tonight, temperatures will remain in the mid-30s under clear skies. Tomorrow will be nice and warm, with temperatures hitting the mid to upper-60s. With sunny skies and pleasant temperatures, everyone should get out and enjoy the day tomorrow! Tomorrow night will be warmer than the past several nights as southerly winds continue to bring in warm air, keeping temperatures in the upper 40s.
