A Winter Like Thursday

Winter Weather Advisories are in effect on this Thursday morning as rounds of snow could create slick travel conditions across the area during the rest of the morning and the lunch rush. Areas mainly south of I-64 could see up to an inch of snowfall, which isn't much, but it's enough to cause some issues, especially with the lack of snow so far this season.

This graphic from the National Weather Service out of Louisville outlines areas with the greatest chance of light accumulations this morning.

Those advisories expire around 3:00 this afternoon as snow ends and sunshine gradually tries to come back into the picture. Highs will reach the mid 30s.

Make it a good one, and stay warm!
