Beautiful Weather for Martin Luther King Day

What a gorgeous weekend it has been here in Bowling Green! Besides the bit of rain we received last night, it's been sunny and unseasonably warm (no complaints there!) in the Commonwealth the past two days. We topped out at 56° today, according to the National Weather Service.

Tomorrow, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, weather conditions will be much like they were today. Sunny skies will help usher in temperatures in the 50s, which are well-above the average high of 45° for this time of year.

Monday High Temperatures, via NWS

The gusty winds that we were experiencing earlier today have died down this evening, and will continue to be light and variable throughout the overnight and morning hours. Winds will become southerly tomorrow afternoon and will continue tomorrow night, with partly cloudy skies allowing for lows in the mid-30s.

The next chance of rain will be on Tuesday, as a cold front swings through the area. More details on that in tomorrow's blog post!

Forecast

Tonight: Mostly clear skies, low of 34°. Winds becoming calm.

Monday: Beautiful day in store! Sunny skies with a high of 55°. Winds becoming southerly up to 5 mph.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy skies with a low around 36°. Calm winds from the south.

Thanks for reading! If you're lucky enough to have the day off tomorrow, be sure to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather!
