More Seasonable Temperatures Tomorrow

We have been spoiled with unseasonably warm and mild weather over the past few days!  Although the weather will still be rather uneventful tomorrow, temperatures will cool to more seasonable temperatures.  The real story will be the system currently located over New Mexico, Texas, and the surrounding states.

The dry cold front currently draped just northwest of Bowling Green will move through overnight.  Lows will fall to near 30° by daybreak, and highs will only reach around 45° tomorrow afternoon under mostly cloudy skies.  That high temperature may seem chilly after enjoying temperatures in the 50s or even 60s for four days in a row, but that is right on par with normal for this time of year.

Looking ahead, Friday looks a bit more interesting.  The low pressure center located over New Mexico will move east and bring with it a chance of rain and rain/snow mix Friday afternoon.  That is then expected to switch over to wet snow during the evening hours.  This system could bring Bowling Green and the surrounding areas some minor snow accumulations.  We will have more details on that as we get closer to Friday.  This system will clear out Saturday morning, but there is another chance of rain/snow mix Sunday into early Monday morning.  It is starting to feel more like winter again!

Forecast:

Tonight:  Partly cloudy skies, lows near 30°, and light winds out of the northwest.

Tomorrow:  Mostly cloudy skies, highs near 45°, and winds out of the north at around 3-5 mph.

Tomorrow Night:  Mostly cloudy skies, lows near 30°, and winds out of the northeast at around 3-5 mph.

Thanks for reading, and have a great night!
