As we start the week, we'll be seeing much of the snow that fell from the last system continue to melt off. Temperatures today are expected to reach the high-50s, and this time, they will stay!! Highs for this week will range from the mid-50s to low-60s, making for very consistent temperatures all week for the Southwestern Bluegrass. Spring is definitely attempting to overtake winter.
With that being said, one cannot have true spring conditions without a few rain showers. That will be the case for late tonight into tomorrow, as a system from our southwest works its way up to our area. By the end of Tuesday, we could see a quick 1-2 inches of rain in certain areas. Thursday also has a good chance of another brief, spring-like shower.
