It has been a gorgeous
day across south central Kentucky.
Afternoon temperatures were in the upper 70s under clear blue
skies. Bowling Green reached an official
high of 78°, and our normal high this time of year is 83°.
Tomorrow, temperatures
will be more seasonable as we continue on this slight warming trend that will
be with us throughout this workweek. The
day will start off a bit cool with temperatures in the low 50s in the early morning
hours. However, we will warm up quickly
and temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s in the afternoon.

All this sunshine and the
increasing temperatures are due to a high pressure system that is currently over
West Virginia. That high pressure system
is keeping our skies nice and clear.
Also, because the winds rotate clockwise around that center of high
pressure, our winds are coming up from the south-southeast, which makes it even
warmer.
Looking further ahead,
that center of high pressure is going to stay parked over West Virginia and
Virginia for most of the workweek. So,
our temperatures will steadily rise as warm air from the south continues to
filter into the region. However, that
also means that we can expect plenty of sunshine!
Forecast:
Tonight: Clear skies, lows near 51°, and light winds out of the
SSE.
Tomorrow: Sunny skies, highs near 84°, and winds out of the SSE
at around 5-10 mph.
Tomorrow Night:
Mostly clear skies, lows
near 54°, and light winds out of the SSE.
Thanks for reading, and
have a great night!
