Good evening!
We had another hot one out there today! We topped out at 95 here in Bowling Green,
but it felt even hotter. Most of the
area saw highs in the low 90s. Many
places will see temperatures in the low 90s again tomorrow, but we do have a
slight cool down to look forward to later this week.
Although it was a little humid today, we did not have any precipitation. However, that could change tomorrow. As shown in the graphic below, a weak cold
front, which is actually almost a stationary front, system will move through our
region tomorrow afternoon and evening.
So, we will have a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms as
that front passes. There is a chance
that some of these storms could become severe.
However, at this time, severe weather is not expected.
Looking ahead, the second half of your week does not look
quite as hot as the first. After that frontal
system moves through, we will see slightly cooler and less humid
conditions. However, we will still be
seeing highs in the 80s. After tomorrow,
our next chance for rain looks like it will be this weekend.
Forecast:
Tonight: Partly cloudy skies, a low near 72, and light
winds out of the south.
Tomorrow: Partly sunny skies, a 50% chance of scattered
showers and thunderstorms, a high near 92, and winds out of the WSW at around
6-8 mph.
Tomorrow Night: Mostly cloudy skies, a 60% chance of showers
and thunderstorms, a low near 67, and light winds out of the NNW.
Have a great night!
