Good Evening!
Today was just a completely dreary day, with temperatures not being able to reach the forecast high because of all the drizzle and thick cloud cover. But it looks as if the second half of our weekend will be just a little bit better. The drizzle that plagued us today will not be there tomorrow and temperatures will be quite a bit warmer with temperatures reaching near 80°
Looking past tomorrow the weather looks to return to the summer pattern that we are so used to seeing here in south central Kentucky, where we will have daily chances of thunderstorms. But a system looks to move in midweek with better chances of rain and thunderstorms. Make sure to stay informed with the WKU Storm Team for the latest as we get closer to these rain chances!
Forecast:
Tonight: Slight chance of isolated showers, with patch fog possible late. Northeast wind around 5 mph. Low: 64°
Tomorrow: 20% chance of isolated showers and a north wind near 5 mph. High: 80°
Tomorrow Night: Partly cloudy skies with a north wind becoming calm in the evening. Low 70°
