According
to the National Weather Service, today’s high for Bowling Green was 85°- a very
nice warm-up from the 72° we experienced Saturday. Those spring-like conditions
are gone and summer is back! Cloudy skies and dreary conditions have left for
the time being; mostly sunny skies are in store for the start of the workweek. Clouds
will continue to dissipate as rain moves off to the east this evening. Tonight
should be fairly calm, but relatively high dew points and low temperatures will
provide ample moisture for the formation of some patchy fog.
An area
of high pressure will allow for sunny skies in Kentucky for our Monday. An
upper-air ridging pattern will bring in more warm and moist air, thus returning summer-like conditions to the area.
While the outdoors may not be so pleasant to some, the perfect pool weather has
returned! Highs
for tomorrow look to be right about 90°, which is typical for this area during
this time of year. Rain chances will increase as the week progresses, with our
next best thunderstorm chance arriving late Wednesday.
