Cool Down Expected

Good evening everyone. We once again received quite a bit of rainfall today. According to the Kentucky Mesonet, we picked up 1.57" of rain. The high temperature today was 89°. Much higher than expected given the thick cloud cover and morning thunderstorm we had.

According to the current surface analysis map, a cold front has pushed through the region. This will help cool off those temperatures tonight and into tomorrow. It will also help dry out the region, allowing for our rain chances to come to an end. Pleasant weather can be expected through mid-week.

Forecast:

Tonight: Partly cloudy with isolated showers. Low 66°.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies with a high around 83°.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy skies with a high around 65°.

Be sure to get out and enjoy the weather tomorrow. Be sure to follow us on Twitter @wkustormteam. Thanks for stopping by the blog and have a great evening!
