Heat Continues

As shown in the graphic below, it was another hot day across the region.  Bowling Green hit a high temperature of 90°, and thanks to the humidity, the heat index values were even higher.  If you were hoping for a break from the heat, you are out of luck.  It looks as if we will be seeing high temperatures similar to today's for the remainder of the work week.

There is high pressure surrounding our area that will be keeping our weather pretty consistent.  The next couple of days are going to be hot and muggy with a slight chance for an afternoon shower or thunderstorm.  However, on Thursday, the high pressure will finally begin to move to our south and a cold front will work its way toward our area, which will bring your weekend high temperatures down into the 80s.

While some cooler temperatures sound pretty nice right now, that is not all this front will be bringing with it.  Our rain chances will be increasing this weekend.  Check back throughout the week for more updated forecasts for your Labor Day weekend.

Forecast:

Tonight:  Mostly clear skies, lows near 70°, and light winds out of the east.

Tomorrow:  Mostly sunny skies, highs near 92°, and winds out of the northeast at around 5 mph.

Tomorrow Night:  Partly cloudy, lows near 71°, and light winds out of the ENE.

Have a great night!
