A strong trough has worked through the region with continental polar air rushing quickly behind it. While it may seem cold at first, this will make for a perfect weekend across south central Kentucky.
Pictured above is a look at the visible satellite imagery (which shows cloud cover) current for the Ohio Valley. These clouds will be sticking around today with a slight chance of a shower throughout the day today. Overall, most of us will stay dry and enjoy the temperatures not only for today, but for the weekend as well.
Be sure to enjoy this weather, keep calm, and relax as this fall pattern sets in for the next couple of days! I will have all the details on the weekend on tonight's blog!
Today: Highs will stay in the upper 60s with some folks across south central Kentucky hitting 70 degrees. It will be a mostly cloudy day with winds from the northeast at around 7 mph.
Be sure to tune back in tonight for the evening blog post!
