Today was a nice break from the heat as Bowling Green barely
missed the 80° mark. According to the National Weather Service, our high
temperature was 79°, which is six degrees below the average for this time of
year. We definitely have yesterday’s cold front to thank for some very pleasant
weather.
As high pressure to our north moves off towards the east,
surface ridging will keep our region cool and dry for tonight and tomorrow.
Skies will continue to clear as the evening goes on, leaving us with fairly
cool temperatures early tomorrow morning. With more widespread sunshine, tomorrow
should be a few degrees warmer than today, giving us comfortable highs in the
low 80s. Lows tomorrow night will once again be around 60°, which is perfect weather for sleeping with the windows open.
