It was difficult to shake the cloud cover yesterday, and though there was no rain to deal with, it did keep temperatures on the cool side. Much of the overnight was overcast, but a quick transition to clear skies should take place in the hours after sunrise. A strong domain of high pressure is centered right over south-central Kentucky, and is keeping most of the Eastern US quiet in terms of weather activity. With a high right overhead, winds will be little to none. Expect temperatures to warm through the fifties into the afternoon, with a max in the lower 60s.

Down the road, we're eyeing a slight warming trend, but this includes a more mixed mode of sun and clouds. Data is continuing to wipe away all rain chances that were previously hinted at for Monday. For now, enjoy this beautiful Sunday. This evening's blog will contain more information regarding the days ahead.
