Rain Ending

Widespread showers led to a pretty dreary day today.  The graphic below shows that Bowling Green has picked up 0.75” of rain since midnight last night, and some parts of the area picked up over an inch.  A few light showers will still be hanging around overnight tonight but will work their way out of our region early in the day tomorrow.

Although tomorrow will be drier than today, it will not be any warmer.  High temperatures are once again only expected to make it into the mid-50s.  Normally, our high temperatures would still be in the low to mid 60s this time of year.  So, we will be running a little cooler than average for the next few days.

Looking ahead, once this cold front moves out of the area, high pressure is going to build in behind it and bring us some rather clear conditions for Friday.  However, another cold front is expected to move through during the day on Saturday and will bring a slight chance for rain and a small dip in temperatures for Sunday.

Forecast:

Tonight:  Mostly cloudy skies, a 50% chance of showers, lows near 48°, and winds out of the west at around 3-5 mph.

Tomorrow:  Mostly cloudy skies, a 20% chance of AM showers, highs near 55°, and winds out of the west at around 8-15 mph.

Tomorrow Night:  Partly cloudy skies, lows near 35°, and winds out of the WNW at around 5-10 mph.

Thanks for reading, and have a great night!
