A cold front arrived last night and will be making its way
through our region over the next 24 hours or so. It is a rather slow moving front, so we can expect
scattered showers throughout the day today and even some into tomorrow morning. Also, temperatures will be a bit cooler than
they have been for the last couple of days with highs in the mid to
upper 50s.
We are not expecting thunderstorms from this system. However, the rain could become heavy at
times. So, make sure you keep your
umbrella with you today. The graphic
below is a quantitative precipitation forecast map. It shows the forecasted rain totals for the
next 24 hours. Bowling Green has already received 0.42" of rain since midnight last night. Although we are not in the
bullseye, another quarter to a half inch of rain would not be out of the question for Bowling
Green and the surrounding areas today, and some places may see even more.

Forecast: Cloudy skies, an 80% chance of showers,
highs near 56°, and light and variable winds.
Have a great day, and try to stay dry!
