Sunnier and Slightly Warmer Tomorrow

Infrared satellite shows a thin layer of high clouds over Kentucky tonight

Cloud cover finally gave way to some sunshine this afternoon and evening, and these clouds will continue to clear overnight. Wind chills will be minimal due to nearly no wind. Once again, we will drop below freezing tonight but temperatures will rebound nicely tomorrow. Look for it to be slightly warmer with a high in the mid 40s. A few clouds will dot the sky but may become more numerous as the sun sets. Warmer air will encroach on south-central Kentucky over the weekend, and we may reach the 50s for Saturday with a mix of sun and clouds.

Tonight: Mostly clear and calm with a low near 27°.
Friday: Mostly sunny and light northwest winds with a high of 46°.
Friday night: Low around 30° with partly cloudy skies and calm winds.

Have a good evening!
