We've been gifted with unseasonably warm temperatures the past couple of days due to warm winds coming from the south. Today should be no different... highs will hover around the upper-50s for most of the day. We could even see a chance for temperatures to break the 60-mark.
As for rain chances, you can pretty much expect a rainy midday/afternoon. A system coming across our region has a small chance to produce thunderstorms as well as moderate rain. Some places could see well over an inch of precipitation within the next 24 hours.
Along with the rain, we will see wind speeds consistency rise as the next couple of days unfold. While today should only have gusts around 10 mph, tomorrow is a totally different case, as they are expected to get to 25 mph, and so on.

We should see rain with this system coming through western Kentucky today. |
