We have seen some light
snow this morning, and a few more flurries are possible. So, drive with extra caution as there may be some
slick spots on the road. Do not worry
too much about accumulation, though, because we are not expecting more than a
few flurries the rest of the day. Although many places received a dusting this morning, no
more accumulating snow is expected today.
Despite the snow, the
real story today will be the cold. An
arctic front is moving through our area this morning. We already hit a high
temperature of 25° very early this morning. Since then, temperatures have begun
falling and will continue to do so throughout the day and into this
evening. We will be the in the teens before this afternoon and drop into the single digits this evening. The graphic below shows expected temperatures at 3:00 this afternoon.
