Chance of Rain Tonight, Cooler Temps Tomorrow

It was a pretty dreary day out there for those of us here in the Commonwealth, with clouds dominating the skies. Temperatures weren't half bad, however, as we hit a high of 57° in Bowling Green. Unfortunately, these nice temperatures will not last, as a cold front will be making its way through the region around midnight tonight.

Moisture, along with the aforementioned cold front and associated low pressure, could bring some scattered rain to our area tonight and into early Monday morning. Since moisture is quite limited, whatever rain does fall will be light. Below is a 24-hour Quantitative Precipitation Forecast, valid between 6PM tonight through 6PM Monday. Our area looks to remain in the 0.01-0.10" range.

Behind the passage of this cold front, winds will be transitioning to the northwest, allowing cold air to filter in during the day (and night) tomorrow. Skies will be cloudy, with highs in the low to mid-40s for those of us in south central Kentucky. Tomorrow night will bring temperatures in the upper-20s under mostly cloudy skies.

Forecast

Tonight: Chance of light rain showers. Low around 40°. Winds becoming northwest up to 10 mph.

Monday: Slight chance of rain early. Otherwise, cloudy. High of 43°. Winds from the northwest around 10 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy skies with a low of 27°. North wind from 5-10 mph.

Thanks for reading! Have a great night!
