Good morning!
Today will be another
rather pleasant day with a mix of sun and clouds and high temperatures in the
mid 70s. However, a cold front is headed
our way that will bring showers, and possibly a thunderstorm, to our area late
tonight through tomorrow night. Once
that system passes, we will see a rather large temperature drop behind the cold
front that will leave us with highs in the mid to upper 40s for the end of the
week.

The map above shows the
pleasant high temperatures forecasted for our region today as well as the
significantly cooler temperatures off to our north and northwest. The location of the cold front across
southern Indiana and Illinois is rather obvious due to
the steep temperature gradient. Once
that front moves through tomorrow, we will be seeing temperatures more like
what they are seeing in Iowa today where the forecasted highs are only in the
upper 40s.
Forecast: Partly sunny skies, highs near 74°, and winds out of
the SSW at around 5-10 mph.
Thanks for reading, and
have a great day!
