Good morning!
Most of our area is off to a dry but
cloudy start to our day today, and it looks as if those conditions will
continue for most of the day. These
stubborn clouds will be sticking with us, and there is a slight chance of rain throughout the day. A short round of showers is about to move through our area. However, most of the rain
will not move in until later. Rain chances will increase as we head
into the afternoon and evening hours. Showers are
likely and a thunderstorm is possible overnight.
This morning’s lows were in
the mid 50s, which is around 10° above average.
However, due to the cloud cover, temperatures will not rise all that
dramatically today and our highs will be rather seasonable. Our normal high temperature for this time of
year is 69°. As shown in the graphic
below, highs today are expected just barely break the 70° mark.

Looking ahead, the
showers we are expecting as we head into the evening and overnight hours will
continue into Thursday. Due to a low
pressure system to our south, there is a chance of showers every day for the rest of this
week. It will not be a total washout
since they will be rather scattered in nature, but we will not see a clear day
until sometime next week.
Forecast: Cloudy skies, a 30% chance of PM showers, highs near
70°, and winds out of the east at around 5-7 mph.
Thanks for reading, and have a great day!
