Pleasant Week Ahead

After the severe weather threats the area experienced yesterday evening, today brought a nice contrast with clearing skies and cooler temperatures. The high today was about 20° below yesterday's high; these cooler than normal temperatures will continue for most of the workweek. The average high temperature for this time of year in Bowling Green is 72°.

Surface high pressure is expected to keep our area nice and dry for the week, to close out what has been a wetter-than-normal April. Mostly clear skies tonight will bring sunny skies tomorrow, with high temperatures in the mid-60s. Temperatures tonight and tomorrow night will fall into the low 40s.

Overall, the workweek looks pleasant, but a bit chilly in comparison to seasonal averages. Temperatures are expected to ramp back up into the 70s for the upcoming weekend.
