Warm Week Ahead

What a beautiful day it's been throughout the Commonwealth, with temperatures flirting with the 80° mark under mostly sunny skies. The weather this week has treated us quite well, and it will continue to spoil us moving into the week ahead. While we experienced temperatures below normal for most of this past week, the week coming up will bring temperatures above the seasonal normal (74° for Bowling Green, according to the National Weather Service).

Southerly surface flow will dominate and amp up over our forecast period, bringing warmer air to the region. Temperatures tonight will drop into the low to mid-50s, which is actually below the normal low for this time of year.

Tomorrow, we will be sitting pretty as temperatures climb into the low 80s; with strong southerly flow, I've decided to go with the higher end of the model output temperatures.

Tomorrow night, temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 50s. We will remain dry as systems bring precipitation to areas to our north and west. It'll be a pretty repetitive forecast for the week, with above-normal temperatures, mostly sunny skies, and dry conditions expected for Bowling Green.
