We have been dealing with
some typical August heat and humidity, but the middle of the week is looking a
bit cooler and a lot wetter.
Temperatures have risen into the 90s everyday so far in August, and we have not recorded any rainfall yet. However, that is going to change.
A front will be moving
through the area tomorrow morning, which will bring us our initial chance of
rain as well as a slight dip in our temperatures. However, as shown below, the actual low
pressure system that front is associated with will move through the region on
Thursday, which will ramp up our rain chances.

Although no severe weather
is expected at this time, this system will be impactful. Heavy rain is likely, especially
Wednesday night and Thursday. As shown below,
we may see more than an inch and a half of rain across the next two days.

Looking further ahead,
that system will be moving out of our region on Friday. The weekend looks dry, but temperatures will
rise slightly to near 90° once again.
However, 90° is our normal high for this time of year, so that is to be
expected.
Forecast:

Thanks for reading, and
