Beautiful Week!

Today was a nice summer day, and the rest of the week will be very similar.  You can expect plenty of sunshine and warm but comfortable temperatures in the low to mid 80s.

As shown below, high pressure is going to be dominating our weather pattern for the rest of this week.  That is going to keep rain out of the forecast and bring a nice breeze out of the north, which will help keep it a bit cooler than our normal summer high temperatures.

This is going to be a great week to get outside! However, this nice weather will not be sticking around forever.  Temperatures will begin to rise to the normal high of 90° this weekend.  Then, as shown below, we may even see above average temperatures next week.  So, get out and enjoy this beautiful weather before it gets hot and sticky once again!

Forecasted probability that the average temperature from August 17th to August 21st will be above average, below average, or normal courtesy of the Climate Prediction Center.

Forecast:

Tonight:  Mostly clear skies, lows near 65°, and winds out of the north at around 3-6 mph.

Tomorrow:  Sunny skies, highs near 83°, and winds out of the north at around 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow Night:  Clear skies, lows near 61°, and light winds out of the northeast.
