We are shaping up for a pretty active weather week. Today we start with lots of sunshine, and it should become partly cloudy as the day goes on. We're on a bit of a warm-up for the next couple of days, as highs for today are expected to get up into the mid-40s, followed up but highs in the mid-60s tomorrow. With these high temperatures, we could see some rain (and a few thunderstorms) Tuesday/Tuesday night.
Take this with a grain of salt, but after Tuesday, we change from scattered t-storms and highs in the 60s to a possible winter system Wednesday. A sudden temperature change has a good probability of rain transferring over to some sleet/snow. And need I say it, but lows on Thursday should cool into the single-digits. Welcome to Kentucky, I guess!!

The top WPC forecast shows no rain for noon Monday. The bottom WPC chart, however, has us in some rain during the 6:00 PM run. |
As always, we'll keep everybody updated if any big changes are to come, but for now, get ready for a very (typical/non-typical, whatever you prefer) Kentucky weather week.
