It will be warm again
today with highs climbing to nearly 80°.
Bowling Green had a high temperature of 80° yesterday as well. Normal high temperatures for this time of
year would be around 67°, so we will be running 10-15° above average in many
places today.
Like yesterday, although
today will be warm, it will not exactly be pretty. We will see persistent cloud cover throughout
the day as well as a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms due to the low
pressure system and associated stationary front to our north depicted in
the graphic below. Some of these storms
could produce heavy rain and possibly very small hail and gusty winds. Although there is only a marginal risk or
severe weather in our area, it is possible we could see a severe thunderstorm
warning sometime today. So, keep an eye
on the weather. We will keep you updated
as best we can on Facebook and Twitter.

Looking ahead, tomorrow
looks like it will be very similar to today. However, the cold front on the
back side of this system will move through on Friday. After that, we will see clearer conditions
and more seasonable temperatures for rest of Friday and into the weekend.
Forecast: Cloudy skies, a 40% chance of scattered showers and
thunderstorms, highs near 80°, and winds out of the SSW at around 6-12 mph.
Thanks for reading, and
have a great day!
