Scattered showers moved
through the area this afternoon and earlier this evening, but those have since
pushed off to our east. Before that rain
moved in and cooled us off, we reached a high temperature of 82°. As shown in
the graphic below, we expect highs in the low to mid 80s tomorrow as well as for the rest
of this week.

The showers have moved
out for tonight. However, as shown
below, rain chances will return later in the day tomorrow and continue into
Thursday as a weak cold front moves through the area. These showers and storms will be a little hit
or miss. However, since this will be a typical,
warm, moist, summer-like environment, any storms that develop will have some instability
to feed off of. This means that,
although it is not likely, it is possible that we could see a strong or severe
storm pop up. So, we will keep an eye on that.

Overall, the next few
days will be much of the same with temperatures in the low to mid 80s and
chances of showers and thunderstorms. That
trend will continue into the start of next week. No major changes are expected for a
while. Summer tends to bring rather
consistent weather patterns. It looks as
if that may already be starting since each day’s forecast looks very similar to
the day before.
Forecast:
Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies, lows near 66, and winds out of
the south at around 5-10 mph.
Tomorrow: Partly sunny skies, a 20% chance of afternoon showers
and thunderstorms, highs near 84°, and winds out of the southwest at around
6-12 mph.
Tomorrow Night:

chance of showers and thunderstorms, lows near 64°, and light winds out of the
south.

Thanks for reading, and
have a great night!
