Below is a forecast surface map from the Weather Depiction Center, valid for 7 AM tomorrow morning:

WPC Surface Map, Valid 7AM Monday |
Rain chances will begin to pick up tonight, especially to the areas west of I-65. Those of us in Bowling Green could see a scattered storm or two tonight, but the better chance of storms comes Memorial Day and into Tuesday. The upper-atmosphere will provide us with enough lift to produce storms, as strong southerly winds (gusts up to 20-25 mph) transport moisture into the area.
The models are currently showing a wave of rain/storm chances for our western counties tonight, another one tomorrow morning, and then scattered storms through the afternoon and evening. Severe weather is not expected at this time, but downpours and gusty winds are possible. Be sure to grab your umbrella tomorrow and keep it with you for the next several days!
